Full Moon in Sagittarius & our favourite rituals for the lunar eclipse

Welcome to the first lunar eclipse of 2021 angels, a full moon in sagittarius and a super blood moon, so if things are feeling a little intense right now you’re not alone, our ancients proclaim that eclipses signify monumental shifts on both an individual and collective level. Now’s the time to move forward and leave behind things that no longer serve us in order to create space for all that does.

Since we haven't seen a full moon in sagittarius since December last year, now is the perfect time to reflect on the intentions set back then, some of these may have been achieved and if not that’s ok too, this lunar eclipse will provide opportunities to co correct your path.

With the sun in communication focused Gemini and our moon in Sagittarius the two are at complete opposites, this will challenge us to balance the urge to talk and share with the need to listen. This full moon is a time for reflection and contemplation for every sign, take some time to journal, mediate and smudge your physical space. These are all practices that will allow you to find greater clarity around what you need to release.

We’ve selected three of our favourite full moon rituals for you to practice this lunar eclipse.

Journaling

Below are some questions to use as prompts during this full moon.

  • What do I need to let go of to gain greater freedom?

  • What lessons have I been resisting that are restricting my freedom?

  • Where have I been avoiding seeking the additional knowledge needed for my expansion?

  • Where have my beliefs been closed to the perspectives of others?

Crystals

If you’re anything like us and have a collection of crystals, now is the perfect time to charge them up, ideally outside in the moonlight.

Burning

With the full moon being the perfect time to release any emotions you’re wanting to let go of. You can write down all that you’re looking to release and (safely) burn this little piece of paper.

Sending all the love for this lunar eclipse x
