Having been founded in only 2017, Paloma Roan has EXPLODED in an extremely short amount of time and we’ve fostered a community that’s admired across the globe.
PR is a safe space and sanctuary for those inspired by head turning locks, sustainability, inclusiveness and connectedness. We are high quality and luxurious but not in a stuffy kinda way. We’re all about self-care, sustainability, self-expression and good energy. PR is a green space, a salon, a source of inspiration and a movement - and we’re here to shake up the industry.
We’ve been around the world, have worked alongside the best and have tried and tested what makes up the perfect salon environment.
Trust us, the energy at Paloma Roan is infectious - if you’re not floating on cloud nine when you walk out our doors, we wanna know about it.

The Consultation
The Consultation - Here’s what to expect during your consult appointment with us
Seeing a new salon for the first time can be intimidating. We get it, we’ve all had a horrid experience that’s left us a little scarred. Not all hair-ships are built to last, but at Paloma Roan we pride ourselves on world class service and techniques. So please, never hesitate to reach out to us if you’d like to discuss your hair service further.
Here at PR we offer $50 consultations - the $50 that you spend with us in the chair will come off your appointment once the service is complete and it’s a great way to prepare for your appointments with us.
What it entails? A catch up with your selected stylist - we’ll look at your hair and goals and create make a plan. Think of it like a deep dive into your hair regimen and hair history. Don’t worry, communication is key! So even though you’re still carrying the baggage of the box-dye you smooshed on your hair during lockdown, we WANT to hear about it.
We’re a welcoming and accepting space that is GOOD VIBES ONLY but keep in mind, we specialise in what we do best, so we will give our honest advice and guidance. We want to make sure we’re the best fit for you and your goals.

The Appointment
The Appointment - Here’s what to expect during your appointment with us.
Alrighty, so it’s the big day and you’re on your way to hair heaven! Here’s what you can expect during your appointment.
Firstly, you’ll be greeted by our salon receptionist or coordinator and offered a delicious bev. Think, naturopathic teas, espresso’s, signature cocktails & probiotic tonics - we know, your mouth is on the floor already.
After this your stylist of choice will be over to get you seated and you’ll catch up on what it is you’re wanting to achieve, we highly recommend coming prepared with a mood board! You’ll be offered a quote and as your stylist ducks off to mix, one of our emerging stylists will be over to cape you up. (did we mention that we incorporate space cleansing mists to ensure you’re feeling grounded and present?)
The basin experience is extra decadent with one of our Ayurvedic Luna Rituals added on. They’re biodynamic hair masks with crystal magic, essential oils, hot towel and a hydra dhara, flowerfall ritual to activate the crown chakra. For $150 they’re absolutely worth it!
Styling is where we like to have some fun - natural texture, bouncy blowdries, beach waves, glam sets and bed hair are our thing. Let us know your preference and we’ll make it happen.
Lastly, you’ll be sent home with a tailored haircare regimen and it’s imperative that you follow what your stylist and colourist has recommended for you.

Think of your hair as you would your skin - you must nurture it by using quality and professional products AND they need to be the right fit for you. Here at PR we are obsessed with natural and high perfoming brands, which is why we’ve partnered with the absolute best in the business.
Oway is a biodynamic brand from Italy - products are grown and harvested following the lunar cycles and everything is locally distilled and produced. They’ve even got their own amazing organic farm. Yep, we’ve seen it with our own eyes.
Oway’s concept is strongly rooted in ancient practices of cultivation and harvesting and we love the brands philosophical approach to organic hair care. It’s top shelf, results driven, clean and high performing. Oh, and did we mention you can bring your gorgeous bottles back to be refilled? For an extra 20% off and less waste, that’s a deal!
Kevin Murphy is almost what you’d call a household name but do you know just how philanthropic and conscious this lil’ brand is? Fun fact, Kevin Murphy began their career in Brisbane and since then, they’ve absolutely created an empire for themselves.
KM is high performing, fashion focused, vibrant and fun. The brand is dedicated to aiding charitable causes that focus on an array of issues both environmental and human. They support the likes of The Climate Reality Project, Wings of Karen and Culture is Life. PLUS they use 100% ocean waste plastic!
We love Kevin Murphy because it’s cool, promises great results and is an uncomplicated and to the point, hair care range. Oh, and if that hasn’t made you heart eyes enough already, wait until you smell them…

We’re a luxury sustainable salon. So that means we repurpose and recycle 98% of our salon waste and utilise a compost. Please feel free to recycle your Oway + KM shampoo and product bottles here.
Love your pooch more than anything in the world? Us too, so we’re doggo friendly honey! So long as your furry friend is toilet trained, happy and up for pats, they are welcome here.
We have a rebooking rewards program! Rebook following your appointment with us and you’ll go in the draw to win a $250 voucher to spend on services with us!

Other than that, you’re welcome to bring food for your appointment or we can order in for you. We offer probiotic and collagen tonics to all of our guests and have extra touches like cool towels during the height of summer and heavy linen blankets for the chilly months.
